ArtshowBilbao 2011 · Feria de artistas

"ArtshowBilbao" pretende ser un evento de artistas y para artistas.

Pintores, ilustradores, escultores, dibujantes, fotógrafos, etc. serán los participantes y organizadores al mismo tiempo de esta feria.

La idea surge como consecuencia de constatar la necesidad de muchos artistas de exponer sus obras y poder mostrárselas al gran público de una manera cómoda y directa, que proporcione un contacto directo entre el visitante y el artista, pudiendo explicar de primera mano las características de las obras.

Los canales de exponer para los artistas en este momento son varios, tanto a través de galerías, como en locales municipales. También la hostería se presta a exhibir las obras, pero un "colectivo" de artistas hemos considerado que también se podría organizar de forma anual una gran Feria en Bilbao.

Esta ciudad reúne aquellas cosas que los artistas buscan a la hora de exponer en una ciudad. Y la primera y más importante es que se trata de una ciudad de "diseño" con olor a "arte" por todas sus esquinas.

Una ciudad que ha sabido "reconstruirse" alimentándose principalmente de la arquitectura más vanguardista y atrayendo a los artistas más internacionales a exponer sus obras en Bilbao.

"ArtshowBilbao" pretends to be an event "by artists and for artists".

Painters, illustrators, sculptors, illustrators, photographers..., will be participants and organizers at the same time in this art fair.

The idea arises from the obvious need for many artists to exhibit their works and to show them to the general public in a comfortable and straightforward, providing a direct contact between the visitor and the artist explaining at first hand the characteristics of the work.

There are several channels for artists to exhibit at this time, both through galleries, such as local municipalities...

But a "collective" of artists have considered that also could be organized annually a great Fair in Bilbao.

This city has those things that when artists want to exhibit in a city. And the first and most important is that this is a city of "design" with the smell of "art" from all corners.

A city which has been "reconstructed" feeding mainly on cutting-edge architecture and attracting many international artists to exhibit their works in Bilbao.
